A milestone in local healthcare for Hendry County residents was unveiled with the grand opening of Hendry Regional Medical Centers new Outpatient and Emergency Services Facility. The state of the art facility brings updated technology and a tremendous amount of space for patients and visitors to the hospitals campus. A pathway of bricks baring the name of donors and contributors lead patients to the new building where they are greeted and directed to their healthcare destination; whether it is radiology, lab or emergency services. Positive Medical Transport employees were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony, including Hendry County native Melissa Worley. " Its very hopeful in the advancement of healthcare for the communities of Hendry and Glades County" says Positive Medical EMT Melissa Worley. Three bricks along the pathway bare the Logo of Positive Medical Transport in appreciation for the contribution to the facilities construction. "The pathway bricks lead to a strong foundation in the advancement in excellent medical care for the citizens of Hendry County, Hendry Regional is a strong supporter of Positve Medical Transport, especially in the companies early stages of providing Advanced Life Support services, Positive Medical is proud to have been able to team up with Hendry Regional in the hospitals efforts to grow and provide quality care within their community." Positive Medical Transport Public Information Officer Rob Bullock related. The new facility is slated to begin patient services on Monday August 15,2011.
