Today the Polk County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously to approve the operations of PMT in Polk County. The license goes into effect on Christmas Day and allows PMT to operate comprehensive Basic Life Support services to all facilities in Polk. On the 25th the first PMT unit will be placed in service staging in central Polk County until we find a permanent home there in early 2011.
